This conference will take place at the University of Vienna (Austria) between April 3 and April 5, 2018. It aims to promote academic discussion and exchange by focusing on the following ‘New Perspectives on Imagology’:

Thank you

… to everyone who submitted an abstract!

We are currently in the process of arranging the conference program. The overall number and quality of submissions was extremely high, and we had to decline a number of very good papers. Therefore, we decided to further include a session for posters in our conference program.

If you have written (or write) a paper concerned with self-images and processes of othering, national and/or cultural stereotypes in literature, probably even in conjunction with categories like race, ethnicity, class, gender, age, religion etc., we would like to invite you to present a poster at our conference on New Perspectives on Imagology.

Just write an informal email to imagology2018@univie.ac.at, including your full name or names, field/stage of study and a short description of the topic you would like to present in the form of a poster. Let us know your ideas as soon as possible, but no later than March 11, 2018.

For further information, please see our Call for Posters.
